Great Bend Fire/EMS
Emergency Medical Service made eight ambulance runs Wednesday. There was one false fire alarm.

Great Bend Police
Unlawful use of a credit card and theft were reported Wednesday. A total of seven cases were reported.
Vehicles driven by Leroy Grason and David Welch collided at 3:31 p.m. in the 1900 block of 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
Vehicles collided at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday at U.S. 281 and West K-4.
A motorist in a Hummer backed into another vehicle at 4:21 p.m. in the 200 block of McKinley St., Great Bend.
A burglary was reported at 706 SW 20 Road. Jewelry was stolen from the house.
In a domestic case reported at 5:39 p.m., a woman in Claflin said her husband had fired a weapon in the house during a verbal argument, but had put the gun down and was leaving.
A Ford Escape hit a deer at 6:51 a.m. Thursday on West Barton County Road and SW 90 Ave.
