Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made one ambulance run Friday, eight Saturday and six Sunday.
At 9:54 p.m. on Friday a unit responded to 2538 6th St., where a smoke detector had been activated. The house was checked completely; no fire was found.  
A trash can fire was reported at 6:04 p.m. Saturday in the back yard at 805 Williams St.

Great Bend Police Department
An individual reported a forgery on his business account, Friday at Credit Union of America.
Business checks were reportedly stolen from 1531 Cherry Lane.
A known person allegedly stole items from Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St.
A fraud case was reported Saturday at First Kansas Bank.
Theft was reported at The Buckle, 1313 Main.
A burglary was reported Sunday at 5224 Ridgeway Dr.
A wallet was reportedly stolen from a room at the Parkside Hotel, 3017 10th St. Later that day, a financial card reportedly stolen from the hotel was used and a theft reported at Kwik Shop on Broadway Ave.
A window was broken at 1103 Eisenhower Ave.
A battery was reported at 6:38 p.m. Sunday at 3138 Morton St.
At 4:58 a.m. Monday, police received a report that a front window was broken at Satellite Pros, 2811 10th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 6:08 a.m. Monday at 1429 11th St.

Barton County Sheriff
At 1:26 a.m. Friday, a traffic stop at SW 30 Road and SW 20 Ave. led to the driver being issued two citations and arrested for two warrants for failure to appear.
A non-injury accident was reported at 7:18 a.m. Friday on U.S. 281 and NE 20 Road, after a rock came off of a truck or off the roadway, hitting a vehicle’s windshield.
A non-injury accident was reported at 6:52 a.m. Saturday at NE 10 Ave. and East K-4, where a vehicle hit a deer.
A theft by deception was reported at a location southeast of Great Bend. Money was returned to the reporting party.
On Saturday evening, a sex offense involving a juvenile was reported in rural Great Bend.
A structure fire was reported at 8:26 a.m. Sunday at 563 NW 20 Ave., rural Hoisington. One subject was transported to Clara Barton Hospital by Emergency Medical Service.
At 9:55 a.m. Sunday, theft of a vehicle was reported at Great Bend Feeding - East, 251 NW 10 Ave., Great Bend. It was recovered at 11:22 a.m. in the 2400 block of Coronado Ave., Great Bend.
