Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Thursday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Haley Roach was westbound in the 600 block of 10th St. at 7:48 a.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Janet Corbit, who was stopping in traffic. This was reported as an injury accident.
On Thursday morning, police received two separate reports that a check had been stolen from the Post Office, 2100 16th St.
Criminal use of a financial card was reported.
At 11:47 a.m., a party reported medication had been stolen from 811 Kansas Ave. At 12:18 p.m., a different party reported a laptop computer had been stolen from that address.
Vehicles driven by Linda Bender and Colletta Mogbo collided at 11:51 a.m. Thursday on 10th St.
Criminal use of a debit card was reported after it was used by an unauthorized person. Loss was $615.50.
Theft of fuel was reported at 7:13 p.m. at 2334 Main.

Barton County Sheriff
A car slid off the 200 block of NE 10 Ave. around 5:47 p.m. Thursday, flipping onto its top in the ditch. This was reported as a non-injury accident.
At 10:32 p.m., a Dodge Durango slid off U.S. 281 just south of the intersection with NW 170 Road, but was not damaged. Russell Police Department called and advised they’d received a call from an individual who assisted and got the vehicle out of the ditch.
