Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Monday. There were three fire calls.
Two fire calls were at the high rise due to elevator issues and a person stuck in the elevator. The third fire call was at 2:42 p.m. when units responded to 3824 Railroad Ave for a gasoline spill. On arrival units found an area of fuel approximately 4-5 gallons on the ground. The employees were in the process of cleaning up the spill.

A non-injury accident was reported at 301 Hickory St.
Theft was reported at Walmart located at 3503 10th St.
Theft was reported at Casey’s General Store located at 2716 10th St.
Criminal damage was reported at the flood control located at 80 Washington St.
Forgery was reported at the Community Bank of the Midwest located at 2220 Broadway Ave.
Theft was reported at 2925 Gano St. Unknown suspect stole items from a lawn.
An injury accident was reported at Lakin Ave and McKinly St.
Forgery was reported at 429 Plum St.
