Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters had six Emergency Medical Service calls on Thursday, 13 on Friday, nine on Saturday and eight on Sunday.
They performed two carbon monoxide checks on Friday but found no CO at either location.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A 1996 Ford Mustang driven by Dianna L. Werick, 61, Hoisington, was eastbound on East Barton County Road, about two miles east of Great Bend, at 8:40 a.m. Saturday when the driver lost control. The car left the road through the south ditch and struck a tree. Werick, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital (GBRH) with unknown injuries.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Aimee Wyant was southbound on Main near 10th St. at 7:50 a.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Jason Haberman, who was also southbound.
Theft of a laptop computer from 3515 Broadway was reported.
A burglary at 1716 Third St. was reported. Someone entered the residence and took a laptop computer.
A Miata previously reported stolen from Great Bend was recovered Friday by the Hays Police Department.
A vehicle driven by Bryan Kramer was southbound on Patton Road at 12:19 p.m. Friday and allegedly failed to stop at a red light at Broadway. The vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Jenna Dreiling, who was transported to GBRH by the Fire Department Ambulance.
A vehicle driven by Marilyn Edwards was westbound on 16th St. at 12:27 p.m. Friday and allegedly ran the stop sign at Williams St. The vehicle struck a northbound vehicle driven by Ricardo Ledesma.
Theft of a purse from 3519 10th St. was reported Friday.
Theft of a wallet from 3503 10th St. was reported at 1:42 a.m. Saturday.
A $20 gas skip at 3907 Broadway was reported at 1:16 p.m. Saturday.
A vehicle was eastbound on 16th St. at 4:55 p.m. Saturday and struck a vehicle driven by Andres Mata Gamez at Baker Ave., then left the area.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 3204 17th St.
An aggravated burglary at 2701 Gano St. was reported at 7:01 a.m. Sunday. Someone came in the house and took a wallet while the reporting party was at home.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 400 block of Cedar St.
Three tires at 820 Baker Ave. were slashed, it was reported Sunday. Loss was $300.
Two suspected shoplifters at 1313 Main were contacted Sunday afternoon, and one was served a notice to appear in municipal court.
A 1990 Ford Mustang at 1710 Baker Ave. was damaged, and an amp and subwoofers were stolen.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a stop sign from NE 150 Road and NE 30 Ave. was reported Thursday.
A 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass that was reported stolen from Great Bend last Wednesday evening was found in a ditch in the 300 block of NE 20 Road Thursday afternoon.
A Saturn driven by Mollie Weber was westbound on NE 25 Road at 10:22 p.m. Thursday when it went through the intersection at North Washington Ave. and into the ditch.
