Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday and three Sunday.
At 8:43 p.m. Friday they assisted with shutting water off at 4801 10th St.
At 10:39 p.m. Saturday they received a false alarm.
At 12:58 p.m. Sunday they responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at 2420 Broadway. They checked around the home with CO meters and didn’t find any readings; it was determined that the monitor was faulty.

Great Bend Police
Money was stolen from a locker at Great Bend High School, it was reported Friday.
A debit card was reportedly stolen from 2013 Baker Ave. Lot 1.
A vehicle driven by Linrhosha Luna was eastbound in the 4100 block of 10th St. at 3:24 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Karen Fowler, who was stopped in traffic.
A vehicle driven by Frances Rome was pulling out of the car wash at 4800 10th St. at 10:23 a.m. Saturday when it slid on ice and struck a fence.
A vehicle driven by Charles Irick backed into a parked vehicle in the 1900 block of Monroe St. at 12:51 p.m. Saturday.
Someone broke into a vehicle at 1500 U.S. 281 Bypass.
Someone damaged a screen door at 1414 10th St.
At 1:29 p.m. Sunday, an individual reported being chased by a man with a knife, but when police contacted him at 2:37 p.m., he did not want to press charges.
At 3:28 p.m. Sunday, a known person was allegedly seen in the act of criminal possession of a firearm, as he was walking down the 3200 block of Forest Ave., openly carrying a gun. A case was taken and will be sent to the county attorney.
A burglary was reported at 5:14 a.m. Monday at 419 Grapevine St. A 32-inch Sanyo television and two guns were taken: a Taurus 9mm and a .380.

Barton County Sheriff
At 4:40 p.m. Friday, a motorist reported that the back window of his vehicle blew off and shattered on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 210.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:38 p.m. Friday on East K-4 and NE 100 Ave.
A car hit a deer at 5:28 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 281 at mile marker 111.
A burglary was reported at 1204 NE K-156. Someone broke in and took items.
A vehicle hit a deer at 11:57 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of NE 100 Ave.
