Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Thursday. No carbon monoxide was found during a CO check at 1624 Adams St.
A garage fire at 1201 Morphy St. was extinguished Friday morning.

Great Bend Police
On Thursday a man reported his backpack had been stolen in Sterling. He was referred to the Sterling Police Department.
Ellinwood basketball jerseys and Jordan tennis shoes were found at 1901 Lakin Ave. Items were collected and booked as found property.
A juvenile sex offense was reported Thursday afternoon.
Nine forgeries were reported.
A laptop computer and a tablet were reportedly stolen from 1222 Kansas Ave.
A $20 gas skip was reported at Love’s, 1221 10th St., at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
At 12:40 a.m. Friday, an individual reported theft of a purse containing a Vision card and ID  from 2722 17th St.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a license plate from 320 Marla St., Great Bend, was reported Thursday.
A Ford Fusion hit a deer at 7:38 p.m. Thursday on East K-4 and NE 120 Ave.
