Great Bend Fire DepartmentFirefighters made six ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and six Sunday.At 4:04 a.m. Saturday they were dispatched to 161 Southeast 1 Ave. for a carbon monoxide check but found nothing.There was a small brush fire on the south side of Stone Lake, 2401 Railroad Ave., at 5 p.m. Saturday. Firefighter Brad Deschner said it was started by fireworks.A house fire near Dundee occurred Sunday afternoon, and firefighters were back at 10:40 p.m. after a flare-up.
