Barton County Sheriff
A sex offense involving a juvenile was reported Wednesday.
A car hit a deer at 9:14 p.m. Wednesday on East K-4 and NE 80 Ave.

Great Bend Police
A burglary at Sankos Services, 1600 E. 10th St., was reported Wednesday. Items were stolen.
Items were taken from the shop at 1211 Main.
Someone left 2716 10th St. without paying for items.
A trash can was on fire at 6:40 p.m. at 1317 Hubbard St. The fire also burned the garage.
Kenny Kern was arrested at 7:27 p.m. at 2021 11th St. after allegedly threatening someone with a knife. He was booked for aggravated assault and bond was set at $20,000.
