Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Tuesday.
At 11:41 p.m., a unit was dispatched to the 2500 block of 11th St. for smoke in the area. Firefighters found a metal washtub with logs and copper wiring burning in the back yard of a residence. The fire was extinguished and a warning was issued about illegal burning in the city.

Great Bend Police
On Tuesday morning, there was a report of someone being scratched by a cat in the 1100 block of Warner Road, and a report of a cat bite in the 1400 block of Pyle St.
A speaker was reportedly stolen from 1605 Morton St.
Shortly after 5 p.m., bicycles were reported stolen in the 800 block of Baker Ave. and the 1600 block of Morton St. Both bikes were located and returned to the owners.
Theft of money was reported at 5404 Broadway Ave.
Someone shot the window of the residence at 1610 Morton St. with a BB gun.
Windows were broken on a car at 2810 16th St.
At 1:59 a.m. Wednesday, officers checked on a man seen walking in area of the Walmart Supercenter, 3503 10th St., with no shoes. At 3:07 a.m., the man who first contacted police about this reported finding clothing items, which were returned to the shoeless man.

Barton County Sheriff
Two cell phones were stolen from 404A SE 30 Ave., it was reported Tuesday.
A Dodge Ram hit a deer at 9:35 p.m. on SE 20 Road and SE 40 Ave.
