Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Wednesday. There was one fire call, which turned out to be a false alarm.

Other fires
A small brush fire was found at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday at 896 SE 20 Road and put out by the Ellinwood Fire Department.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a checkbook from 31 SW 20 Road was reported Wednesday morning.
A one vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at 10:45 p.m. at 245 NE 30 Road.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Donald Regehr and Sedra Walters collided on Lakin Ave. at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday.
A washing machine was taken from the front yard at 821 Morphy St.
A lawn mower was stolen from 901 8th St.
