At 12:56 a.m. Sunday, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer reported unknown persons shot out the patrol vehicle window as it passed by on 10th St. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office call log shows this occurring in the area of 10th and Frey. BSCO was called to assist.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at an unknown location, it was reported Sunday.
A gas skip involving a brown van was reported at 8:17 p.m. Sunday at Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St.
Theft of a black Mongoose bicycle from 804 Adams St. was reported Saturday morning. Loss was $100.
A vehicle driven by Jose Valles was westbound in the 1200 block of 10th St. at 11:15 a.m. Saturday and struck a vehicle driven by Russell McCaulley, who was also westbound.
A shoplifting case at Walmart was reported Saturday.
A vehicle driven by Jenny Allford backed into a parked vehicle at 2423 Zarah Dr. at 8:42 p.m. Saturday.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit gas pumps at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St., at 10:05 p.m. Saturday.
A burglary at Abbey Carpet & Floor, 1500 U.S. 281 Bypass, was reported Friday. Power tools were taken from a trailer.
An aggravated assault was reported at 2:48 p.m. Friday, after a party said her neighbor swerved at her in her vehicle.
A vehicle in front of 2209 Morton St. was keyed, it was reported Friday.
A hit-and-run accident in the 1100 block of Baker Ave. was reported at 2:05 a.m. Saturday.
A vehicle driven by Michael Meadows was passing a vehicle driven by Amanda Hawkman at 2:10 a.m. Saturday on Lakin Ave., and struck the left rear of the Hawkman vehicle. Meadows was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Items were stolen from an old air conditioner at 421 Washington Ave., it was reported Friday.
BSCO responded to a non-injury accident at 6:20 p.m. Sunday at 10th and Patton Road.
