Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Friday, five on Saturday, three on Sunday and two on Monday. Three fire calls on Monday two were firework related. See story.
At 10:56 a.m. on Monday, units responded to 463 60 Ave. (diversion Dam) for a boat that had been burning. Upon arrival units found a 16 foot boat on a trailer, the boat had been burned completely. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office was going to investigate.

An injury accident was reported at 19th and Harrison Street.
Theft of a bicycle was reported at 2525 11th St.

July 2
Burglary was reported at 720 Morphy St. A lawn mower was stolen.

July 3
A non-injury accident was reported at McKinley Street and Broadway Avenue.
Criminal damage was reported at 5501 9th St. Tires were cut on a vehicle.
Criminal damage was reported at Dollar General located at 2400 10th St. A window was broken out of a vehicle.
Theft of two planters was reported at 2704 16th St.

July 4
Criminal damage was reported at 2701 Morton St.
Criminal damage was reported at 82 Washington St.

July 5
A non-injury accident was reported in the 2200 Block of 10th Street.

A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 195 on W U.S. 56. A vehicle hit a deer.

July 2
Theft was reported at Smokin Aces located at 268 S U.S. 281.
A non-injury accident was reported at 60 Barton Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported at SW 120 Ave. and W Barton.

July 4
A non-injury accident was reported at SE 20 Road and SE 100 Ave. A vehicle hit a deer.
Criminal damage was reported at 51 McKinley St. A window was broken out of a vehicle.
