Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Thursday. There was one fire call. At 10:12 a.m. units responded to NE 10 Road and NE 20 Ave, for a report of a tree on fire. Upon arrival, units found a dead tree that had been on fire and was still smoldering. With the help of the land owner and a front end loader the tree was brought down to the ground where it could be completely extinguished.

Fraud was reported at Sunflower Bank located at 3600 10th St.
Burglary was reported at 5925 Eisenhower.
A narcotics violation was reported at Best Western Inn located at 2920 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident was reported at SE 120 Ave. and SE 50 Road.
