Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Armondo Reyes-Silva struck a parked vehicle at 4:46 a.m. Saturday at 16th and Washington. He reportedly left the area and was located in the 2500 block of Walnut, where is refused field sobriety testing and was arrested in lieu of $1,000 bond.
Vehicles driven by Elvida Grover and Susan Carlson collided at 11 a.m. at 10th St. and Patton Road.
Vehicles driven by Jared Cregger and Antonio Castro collided at 12:14 p.m. in the 3400 block of 10th St.
Theft of $500 from a checking account via Western Union was reported by an individual.
A ring was reportedly stolen from 416 Maple St.
A known person allegedly stole keys from a house, it was reported Sunday.
Someone cut the lock on a newspaper stand at 2201 10th St. and stole money.
A compact disc played was stolen from a vehicle at 3403 17th St.
At 6:11 p.m. Sunday, a woman in a red passenger car was reportedly seen throwing a brick through a window at 711 Morphy St.
A known person allegedly broke the rear window on a car at 2600 Gano St.

Barton County Sheriff
Law enforcement received a cell phone call from the Claflin area around 4:39 a.m. Saturday, and were dispatched to a rural address where a 17-year-old male was suffering from chest paints and a fast heart beat. He had smoked “pot laced with something” at 3:30 a.m.; this was not his first time using drugs.
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:04 p.m. Saturday on K-156 at mile marker 138.
Officers from the sheriff’s office and Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to the jail around 4:20 p.m. Sunday after an inmate caused a disturbance. Use of force on an inmate was reported at 4:58 p.m.
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:19 p.m. in the 600 block of East Barton County Road, near the Dartmouth Elevator.
Fishing poles were reportedly stolen sometime Sunday from 521 Cunnife Ave., Pawnee Rock, while the owner was out fishing.
