Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Wednesday. There was one fire call.
At 9:15 p.m. the Great Bend Fire Department had a request for a brush rig to assist Pawnee County on a wheat field fire. The fire was extinguished.

Theft was reported at Great Bend Housing Authority located at 1101 Kansas Ave.
