Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Wednesday.
At 1:12 p.m. they responded to 3700 10th St., where a light pole was on fire.

Great Bend Police
A theft at the Walmart Pharmacy was reported Wednesday. The victim said someone used her birth date to pick up a prescription.
A vehicle driven by Chelsey Doll was pulling away from the curb on 12th St. at 10:30 a.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Duane Polzin.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked at Walmart.
A Straight Talk cell phone was reportedly stolen from 817 Maple St. Loss was $100.
A vehicle driven by Stephanie Juno was westbound in the 3700 block of 10th St. at 1:15 p.m. and struck another westbound vehicle driven by Tony Leeds.
Someone scratched a vehicle at 2405 Morton St. Damage was $400.
Barton County Sheriff
The Sheriff’s Office worked an accident in the 3700 block of 10th St., Great Bend, at 1:21 p.m., because a vehicle hit a Great Bend fire truck.
