Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made one ambulance run Monday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
Bullet holes were found in a mailbox at 192 SE 60 Road on Sunday.
A saddle, spurs and tack were stolen from 169 SE 1 Ave.

Great Bend Police
A Craftsman riding lawn mower was stolen from 3300 16th St., it was reported Sunday. Loss was over $1,000.
A home window at 5936 Eisenhower Court, Apt. A, was broken. Loss was $150.
Property at 1910 Williams St. was damaged. Loss was $55.
A vehicle driven by Lindsay Hames was eastbound in the 3000 block of 10th St. at 2:44 p.m. Sunday and struck a vehicle driven by Davis Noal, who was stopped at a traffic light. A citation was issued.

Kansas Highway Patrol
Two people were injured Monday when a car struck the rear of a traffic attenuator (safety buffer) truck while it was protecting a crew working on the shoulder ahead of it, at 6:47 p.m. Monday on Interstate 70 near the Wilson exit in Ellsworth County. Alexander Shea Krcmarik, 20, of Fort Collins, Colo., was taken to the Ellsworth County Medical Center, along with his passenger. The truck driver was not injured.
