Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Monday and six Tuesday.
At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, they were dispatched to 457 Kiowa Road for a report of a tree limb causing power lines to arc. The power company was notified.

Barton County Sheriff
A tank of gas was stolen from in front of 104 1st St. in Olmitz, it was reported Tuesday.
Someone broke a door window on an office at 4 NW 30 Road sometime Monday night.
A motorist reported hitting a deer at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Barton County Road. Because this was actually on 40 Road between 130 and 140 Ave. in Stafford County, the call was transferred to Stafford County.

Great Bend Police
Theft of personal checks was reported Tuesday.
A wallet and keys were reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 2103 Monroe St.
A theft was reported at the Dillon’s store, 1811 Main.
A cell phone was reportedly stolen from 2000 1/2 20th St.
