Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were two fire calls.
At 11:58 a.m. units responded to a gasoline leak at 1031 Jackson. Upon arrival units found an Older Nissan Sentra leaking fuel. A small amount of fuel was on the asphalt and was covered with absorbent. The owner was contacted to repair the vehicle.
At 10:26 p.m. units responded to an area of the Arkansas River west of Washington street south of the dyke for an unattended campfire. The fire was extinguished.

Great Bend Police
Burglary was reported at 313 Maple St.
Theft of sunglasses was reported at Loves Country Store located at 1221 10th St.
Theft of coins was reported at Discount Laundry located at 2201 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a vehicle was reported at SW 20 Road and SW 10 Ave. The suspect was arrested.
