Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
Criminal damage to a pickup window at 316 Bismark Ave., Pawnee Rock, was reported Monday.
Theft of a boat from Keep ‘Em Afloat Boat Repair, 713 Patton Road, Great Bend, was reported Monday.
Burglary and theft from a storage unit at 712 East Santa Fe Blvd., Ellinwood, was reported Monday.
A 14-year-old boy injured in an “airsoft war” Monday evening in Ellinwood was treated and released from Ellinwood District Hospital after being shot in the leg with a BB gun.

Great Bend Police
Burglary and theft at 3900 Forest Ave. Apt. 1 was reported Monday.
A vehicle driven by Sally O’Conner was southbound on 10th St. at 3:50 p.m. Monday and struck Martin Prieto, who was on a southbound bike turning west off Kansas Ave. The bike was damaged but no one was injured.
A burglary at 2536 17th St. was reported Tuesday. Electronics and clothes were taken.
A vehicle driven by Wonda Williams was westbound on 10th St. in the inside lane at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle driven by Maria Carr, who was westbound in the 1600 block of 10th.
A Great Bend resident reported damage to his vehicle, possibly while it was parked at Walmart.
Someone cut a fence to the dike at 97 SW 5 Ave.
A vehicle driven by Morgan Ward was westbound on 10th St. at 2 p.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle driven by Benny Nolte, who was also westbound on 10th and McKinley.
