Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to seven ambulance runs on Wednesday.

Great Bend Police
Theft of jewelry was reported at 1423 12th St.
Fraud was reported at 1906 Hubbard St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2114 Harrison St.
An injury accident was reported at Broadway and Adams St. A vehicle struck another vehicle that failed to yield the right of way.
A possible narcotics violation was reported at 2940 Quivera.

Barton County Sheriff
An injury accident was reported in the 700 Block of East Barton County Road.
A non-injury accident was reported at NW 100 Road and N U.S. 281.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 300 Block of NE 10 Ave.

Kansas Highway Patrol
At 1:46 p.m. the Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle injury accident four miles west of Russel on I-70.
A 2012 Freightliner driven by Timothy May, 32, of Cottonwood Calif., was eastbound on I-70. A gust of wind caused the truck to enter the median, where it came to rest on its side. The driver was not injured and was wearing his seat belt.
The passenger Scott Hill, 47, of Marysville Calif., was in the sleeper part of the cab when the accident occurred.
He did receive injuries and was taken to Russell Regional Hospital.
