Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Thursday. There was two fire calls.
At 11:19 a.m. units responded to a CO check at 1818 Adams St. No CO was found.
At 7:18 p.m. units responded to a report of a fire in the back yard at 2022 Van Buren. Upon arrival the owner stated he was raking leaves and threw down his cigarette into pile of dry leaves and twigs from tree in backyard. The fire was still smoldering upon firefighters arrival and the owner finished extinguishing the small pile of leaves.
