Great Bend Fire/EMS
A fire was reported at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday at 3106 26th St. (See story on page 1.)
Firefighters also made two ambulance runs Tuesday and had one false alarm Wednesday morning.

Great Bend Police
A 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix with Kansas license number 800 DHT was impounded at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday when an officer found it parked in an intersection on 10th St.
At 1:33 a.m. Wednesday, a wallet that was recently reported stolen was found by an officer.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle backed into a vehicle in the parking lot at 3519 10th St., Great Bend.

Kansas Highway Patrol
Barton County residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday in Gove County on K-23, about a mile north of Gove. Christopher C. Jasco, 30, of Scott City was driving north in a 2006 Mercury Mariner and failed to negotiate a curve due to icy road conditions. The vehicle went into the east ditch and overturned one or more times before coming to rest on its wheels. Jasco was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Passengers Skyler M. Denning, 23, of Hoisington; Maria D. Cavender, 32, of Great Bend (whose sustained possible injury); and Saxon A. Denning, 20, of Great Bend, were taken to the Gove County Medical Center. They were not wearing seat belts.
