Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Wednesday and five Thursday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A shoplifter was reported Thursday morning at 2716 10th St. Also, police were told someone shut off the power to the building, and it damaged some equipment.
Someone keyed a vehicle at 3001 Morton.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a turkey at 8:12 p.m. Thursday on East K-4 and NE 60 Ave., about half a mile east of Redwing.
A patrol car hit a deer at 9:09 p.m. in the 400 block of North U.S. 281. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
