Barton County Sheriff
Vandalism at 151 NE 40 Road was reported Monday. Sometime Sunday night, someone tore up the driveway and the roadway in front of the house, and put mud in the mailbox.
A Hoisington man reported finding a bullet hole in his truck Friday afternoon.
Six vending machines for wipes, fragrances and other items that appeared to have come from a car wash were found Monday afternoon in a ditch on NE 50 Ave. and NE 10 Road.
A burglary was reported at 4 NW 30 Road Unit 4126. The trailer was broken into and several items were taken.
At 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy was dispatched to assist a motorist who was out of gas and transporting a 6-month-old infant who was running a fever.

Great Bend Police
A case of child abuse was reported Monday.
A 2014 vehicle decal was reportedly stolen from 457 Kiowa Road.
A known person allegedly broke a window at 1052 Warner Road.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
A smoke alarm at 7:39 p.m. Monday on Odell St. was caused by a faulty smoke detector.  Emergency Medical Service made two ambulance runs Monday.
