Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Friday, five on Saturday and two on Sunday.
There were no fires, but at 10:06 a.m. units responded to 5926 Eisenhower for a report of smoke in the apartment. Firefighters did not smell any smoke and after checking the entire apartment found no hazards.

Great Bend Police
May 12
A non-injury accident was reported in the 900 block of Frey Street.
A non-injury accident was reported at 17th and Odell.
A burglary in progress was reported at 4:50 p.m. when someone allegedly attempted to get into a residence in the 700 block of 10th St. The reporting parting did not want to prosecute so an LOP (lack of prosecution) case was taken.
Theft of medication from a vehicle at Coolide Townhome, 717 Coolidge St., was reported.
May 13
Theft was reported at 1520 10th St. A 14-foot trailer was stolen.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1522 8th St.
Burglary/not in progress was reported at 1602 Morton St.
Criminal damage was reported at 35th and Williams Street. A mailbox was damaged by a vehicle.
Criminal damage was reported at Discount Laundry located at 2201 10th St. Locks were cut and money stolen from video games.

May 14
Criminal damage was reported at 2600 Gano St. Vehicle was scratched.
A non-injury accident was reported at Forest Avenue and Washington Street.
Criminal damage was reported at 1119 Stone St.

May 15
A non-injury accident was reported at 16th Street and Baker Avenue.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 1700 block of Kansas Avenue.
Criminal damage was reported at Sommerset Apartments located at 5803 16th St.

May 12
A non-injury accident was reported at 340 NE K-156 in Ellinwood.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 133 on K-156.
Burglary/not in progress was reported at Knop Sandpit located at 1059 SE 15 Road in Ellinwood.
A non-injury accident was reported at U.S. 281 and NW 50 Road.
Theft was reported at NE 210 Road and NE 90 Ave. A red Polaris Ranger 800 was stolen.

May 13
A non-injury accident was reported at NE 20 Road and NE K-156.

May 14
Criminal damage was reported in the 600 Block of NE 130 Ave. in Claflin. A valve was opened on an oil tank causing a spill.
A non-injury accident was reported at SW 5 Ave. and Railroad Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 208 on U.S. 56. A vehicle hit a deer.
A non-injury accident was reported at 16th Street and Baker Avenue.
