Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A burglary in the 700 block of Jefferson St. was reported Wednesday. Items were taken from a storage shed.
Bricks on a monument at 4800 17th St. Terrace were damaged.
Oilfield pipe was taken from the 4800 block of 10th St.
An identity theft case was taken after someone used a Great Bend resident’s Social Security number to get a credit card.
At 3:35 a.m. Thursday  the GBPD received a report that a 2013 Chevrolet pickup reported stolen from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 4217 10th St., had been recovered.

Barton County Sheriff
Damage to a vehicle that occurred sometime before May 8 at an unknown location was reported Wednesday.
Copper wire and tools were stolen from NE 130 Ave. and NE Cleveland Road.
A motorist reportedly pulled up to a car in a Barton Community College parking lot and swung his or her door open forcefully, damaging the car, then left. The damage was reported Wednesday evening and video obtained.
