Great Bend Police
A burglary at 1618 Odell St. was reported Thursday morning. A Nikon camera and zoom lens were taken from a vehicle. Loss was $600.
A 2012 Ford Super Duty 250 with license 177 FCU was reported stolen from 1401 Hoover St.
A vehicle driven by Jim Rowell was turning north on Washington at 23rd St. at 3:19 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Chelsi Hollinde, who was southbound.
A vehicle driven by Delbert Randolph was backing east on 11th St. at 5 p.m. Thursday and struck a parked vehicle.
Barton County Sheriff
A 20 gauge shotgun was found in the roadway in the 1300 block of NE 210 Road on Thursday. It was logged into evidence.
Theft of services (electricity) at 479 SE 60 Ave. was reported by Midwest Energy.
An animal bite at 614 Windmill Lane was reported Thursday afternoon. Someone was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital and the humane society was contacted to pick up the dog.
Deputies were dispatched at the bar at 601 North U.S. 281 at 11:07 p.m. Thursday. The sheriff’s office is investigating report that a known person battered an individual and poured engine oil over the inside of a car.
Kansas Highway Patrol
A motorist died Friday in Dickinson County after a pursuit by law enforcement. The eastbound vehicle went off Interstate 70 nine miles east of K-15 at 8:19 p.m. and struck a cement culvert. No other information has been released.
