$200 was stolen from a room at the Highland Hotel, 3017 10th St., it was reported Thursday.
At 12:29 p.m. a vehicle driven by Misael Rodriguez was westbound in the 3200 block of 10th St. and struck a vehicle driven by Nicole Gabel, who was stopped in traffic, sending the Gabel vehicle into one driven by Fredrick Dokkyn, who was also stopped on 10th St.
At 3:22 a.m. Friday, a Barton County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a car in the 1200 block of Main St. and the driver ran on foot. He was located in the alley to the west of the 1200 block of Stone St.

A vehicle hit a deer at 6:12 a.m. Thursday on K-156, just north of NE 30 Road.
A sport utility vehicle that was involved in an accident was discovered at 7:19 a.m. at SE 40 Road and SE 80 Ave.
A theft case was created Thursday for Appaloosa Acres & Exotics, 2021 N. Patton Road, Great Bend.
Criminal damage to property was reported Thursday evening when a known person allegedly kicked in a door at 101 Rock St. in Pawnee Rock.
A traffic stop at 3:01 a.m. Friday at 12th and Main, Great Bend, resulted in two subjects running at 3:19. Two males were arrested; one required assistance into the jail after running without shoes.
