Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday, six Sunday and five Monday.
There were no fires, but there was a false alarm on Sunday and two on Monday.

Barton County Sheriff
Alleged narcotics violations were reported Friday in the 200 block of Frey St.
NW 150 Road was closed between NW 70 and NW 60 Ave. Friday afternoon, due to water covering the roadway and possible damage to a bridge.
At 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, a pregnant woman reported being punched in the face at a party in the 200 block of SW 2 Road when a fight broke out. She did not want an ambulance but complained of injuries to her face and jaw.
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:22 p.m. Sunday, 3 or 4 miles east of Ellinwood on East U.S. 56.
A traffic stop at 5:55 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of NW 40 Ave. resulted in a Pratt man’s arrest on charges of possession of drugs and paraphernalia, and speeding.

Great Bend Police
Theft of a license plate from 2106 30th St. was reported Friday. Another license theft was reported Saturday at 2920 10th St.
A burglary was reported at 2107 18th St. Someone broke into the residence and took guns.
A burglary was reported at 12:27 p.m. Friday at the Highland Hotel, 3017 10th St. A man and woman were staying in a room without permission. They were located and arrested. Andrea Short, Great Bend, was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on a charge of burglary, with bond set at $2,000. Michael Foster, also of Great Bend, was arrested and booked on charges of burglary and criminal use of a weapon, with bond set at $20,000.
Tools were reportedly stolen from a shed at 1010 8th St.
A 2:54 a.m. Saturday, Adrian Lemuz was arrested on McKinley St. and booked on charges of driving under the influence and flee and elude. He was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
A vehicle driven by Jorge Guerra struck a parked vehicle at 4:41 a.m. in the 3700 block of 24th St.
Vehicles driven by Misty Nachitgal and Miguel Martinez collided at 9:54 a.m. in the 3900 block of 10th St.
A bicycle was reported stolen from 3118 18th St.
A gas skip involving a white car was reported at 7:33 p.m. at 1000 Main.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 2401 Railroad Ave., it was reported Sunday.
A gas skip involving a red pickup was reported at 11:58 a.m. at 1315 10th St.
A gas skip involving a gray sport utility vehicle was reported at 6:33 p.m. at 1000 Main.
A chain saw was reportedly stolen from the back of a pickup at 1811 Main.
A $29.95 gas skip was reported at 11:06 p.m. at 1221 10th St.
At 7:17 a.m. Monday, someone reported finding a purse in a home trash bin. The owner of the purse was contacted and reported the purse had been stolen out of her vehicle.
A bird bath was damaged and power shut off to a house at 1208 Adams St.
A phone was found on Lakin Ave. and booked as found property.
Police responded to a domestic situation at 3:03 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Heizer St. Rubin Ybarra, Great Bend, was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery. Bond was set at $20,000.
Someone reportedly stole a cell phone off the hood of a car, Monday night in the 1100 block of 9th St.
