Great Bend Fire Department
A smoke smell at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main St., was reported at 11:54 p.m. Saturday, after a cooler shorted out.
A gas spill at the Kwik Shop at 24th and Main was cleaned up at 9:49 a.m. Saturday.

Other fires
A fire that may have been an unattended campfire at SW 20 Road and SW 105 Ave. was put out by the Ellinwood Fire Department at 10:18 a.m. Monday.

Barton County Sheriff
A burglary at 318 SW 40 Ave. was reported Friday. Tools were taken from a trailer.
A vehicle hit the guard rail on a bridge south of Ellinwood, at SE 105 Ave. and SE 20 Road, and left the area, it was discovered Friday.
Someone dumped asbestos pipe at the west end of Big Bend Lake, 100 Washington St.
A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. 56 at milepost 199 at 9:11 p.m. Friday.
A generator was stolen from a home construction site at 1028 SW 70 Road.
Mailboxes at 139 NE 20 Road were damaged sometime Friday night.
Twenty or 30 bales of hay were reportedly stolen from 370 SW 20 Ave.
Suspected drugs were found during a traffic stop at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, on U.S. 281 at milepost 102.

Great Bend Police
Theft of a bicycle from Park Elementary School, 1801 Williams St., was reported Friday.
A sex offense was reported Friday.
Tools were reportedly stolen from 832 Pine Pl.
A steel rack behind a building at 2019 Washington St. was taken.
A Great Bend resident reported someone using his or her identity.
Someone keyed a vehicle at 911 Hubbard St.
Items were reportedly stolen Saturday from lockers at the Wetlands water park, 2303 Main.
A vehicle driven by Branden Paden was turning onto Harrison at 23rd St. at 7:03 p.m. Saturday and struck a vehicle driven by Rebecca Peak.
Someone broke a window on a vehicle at 5812 Rosewood Dr.
A tire on a pickup at 906 McKinley St. was cut, it was reported Sunday night.
A washer and drier were reported stolen from 1001 Fourth St. Loss was $2,400.

Lisa Crain, Great Bend — Serve sentence
Cory Allan Little, Great Bend — Failure to appear

Lacy Prather — $310.50 and $250 cash bonds, $3,000 surety bond
Lisa Woods — $500 surety
Kyle Dreiling, Great Bend — Charges will not be pursued at this time
