A sparking line started a fire at 3 p.m. Wednesday, 3 miles south of Albert and 3/4 miles west.
Great Bend Police
A known person allegedly stole over $1,000 in money from O’Reilly Auto Parts, 2701 10th St., it was reported Wednesday.
Someone shot a window on a vehicle at 6013 Rosewood Dr.
Someone took tools out of a pickup at 2815 Broadway and damaged the locks. Loss was $500.
A 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand was at the Emergency Room at 5:21 p.m. He reported accidentally shooting his hand while cleaning a gun.
Kansas Highway Patrol
A truck driver was injured Wednesday on Interstate 70 when a gust of wind caught the empty trailer, causing it to flip onto its side in Ellsworth County. The accident occurred at 6:48 p.m. as the driver was going over a hill, about 3.6 miles east of the K-156 Junction. Charles Wynkoop III, 53, of Valley Falls, was taken to Salina Regional Health Center. He was not wearing a seat belt.
