Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and two Sunday.
At 11:57 a.m. Saturday they did a carbon monoxide check at 3208 Forest Ave. but did not find any CO.
At 4:44 p.m. Sunday units respond to 5525 Eisenhower Ave. to check on a CO alarm. Instead they found a smoke alarm and it just needed a new battery.

Other fires
A structure fire was reported at 1:42 p.m. Saturday at 510 West 7th St. in Ellinwood.

Great Bend Police
Theft of money from 3106 24th St. was reported Friday.
Vehicles driven by Taliea Potter and Andrea Donavan collided at 11:16 a.m. Friday at 10th and Eisenhower.
Forgery was reported at 2918 Gano St.
Forgery – someone writing a check on a victim’s account – was reported at the courthouse.
A criminal threat case was taken Saturday at 1717 Jackson Ave.
A Burger King employee who reportedly took money from the safe was served a notice to appear in municipal court.
A non-injury accident was reported at 5:13 a.m. Sunday at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
Officers helped the Ellinwood Police Department with disturbances in the 500 block of South Humbolt Ave. at 12:04 and 12:44 a.m. Friday.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:39 a.m. Friday on K-96 near Albert.
A non-injury accident was reported at 8:31 a.m. in the 200 block of NE 150 Road, rural Hoisington.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:34 p.m. Friday in the 30 block of SW 20 Road.
A non-injury accident was reported at 8:33 a.m. Saturday on North U.S. 281 and NW 160 Road, rural Hoisington.
A vehicle hit a deer at 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of NE 130 Ave., Claflin.
BCSO assisted Kansas Highway Patrol with a non-injury accident at 10:20 p.m. Saturday at 204 East U.S. 56.
