Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A juvenile shoplifter was reported Thursday at Walmart Supercenter, 3503 10th St.
A burglary was reported at 2541 7th St. Someone broke into the residence and took a computer.

Barton County Sheriff
On Thursday morning a motorist reported losing a vehicle license tag somewhere between Barton County and Denver, Colo.
Bryce Turnquist, Albert, reported laying a truck and its grain trailer over at 4:26 p.m. Thursday on west K-4 east of Otis. He was not injured but couldn’t get out of the truck. A Doonan crew and two Kansas Highway Patrol officers responded, along with the BCSO and the Rush County Sheriff’s Office, as the accident occurred about a quarter of a mile into Barton County.
A vehicle hit a deer at 5:09 a.m. Friday on west K-4 at mile marker 119, and another deer was hit at 5:25 a.m. on U.S. 56 at mile marker 207.
