Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Wednesday. There was one fire call.
At 4:48 p.m. units responded to a fire at 463 SW 60 Ave. which was near the diversion dam. Upon arrival, units found a fire in a area of grass and logs burning. Units were on the scene for an hour extinguishing the fire.

Great Bend Police
Attempted burglary was reported at Veterans Park located at 4800 17th St.
A narcotics violation was reported at 23rd and Washington Street.

Barton County Sheriff
An injury accident was reported at 654 U.S. 281. A vehicle hit a deer. Minor injuries were reported and the driver refused treatment.
