Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and 11 Sunday.
There was a small grass fire Friday at 2620 17th St.
On Saturday there was a possible gas leak at 2115 Monroe St., followed by a pickup fire at 1217 Holland St., when a 2001 Ford F-150 had an electrical fire. Firefighters were also dispatched to an oven fire at 331 NE 20 Ave., but when the units arrived on the scene they found no fire. A fourth fire call on Saturday sent units to 1219 Madison St., where there was a trash barrel of fire.
There was a small grass fire at 2620 17th St. on Sunday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Masen Torres was eastbound on 24th St. merging lanes at 7:43 a.m. Friday and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Juan Diaz.
Theft of  a license decal from 3808 21st St. was reported.
A vehicle driven by Luz Gorden backed into a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Paseo St. at 10:45 a.m. Friday.
A vehicle driven by Christopher Wonsetler backed into a parked vehicle on 27th St. at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Theft of checks from 923 Eighth St. and forgery were reported.
A vehicle driven by Stephanie Vasquez was eastbound on Eisenhower at 1:16 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Christina Beiberle, who was southbound on Cherry Lane.
A burglary at 2213 McCormick St. was reported. Jewelry was taken.
Theft of money from 4107 10th St. was reported Friday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a mailbox at 2320 24th St. Friday night.

Barton County Sheriff
On Friday morning, a hit-and-run collision that allegedly occurred on Oct. 27 or 28 at Willy J’s, 206 North U.S. 281, was reported.
Theft of cash and a credit card from 245 NE 30 Road was reported Friday.
A 1998 Camaro hit a deer in the 300 block of SE 30 Ave. at 7:34 p.m. Friday.
A 2007 Chevrolet van struck a light pole on U.S. 281 near NE 30 Road at 10:07 p.m. Friday.
At 10:29 p.m., Salina Police Department reported a TV was stolen from their Walmart and the vehicle came back to a location in Barton County. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and the TV was found, along with a suspect.
