Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of Hickory St. at 9:57 a.m. Monday. There was light smoke damage.
They made 10 Emergency Medical Service calls Friday, three Saturday, eight Sunday and seven Monday.
On Friday they also did one smoke detector check and one electrical wiring checking after a resident called in about a smoke smell.
Great Bend Police
A motorist left Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St., at 9:14 a.m. Monday without paying for $43.91 in fuel.
A burglary was reported at 5406 7th St. Someone entered a trailer and removed several items.
At 10:18 a.m., a woman reported being battered and held at a Great Bend residence by a known person, but police did not make contact with him.
Vehicles driven by Terry Raymer and Karla Dunn collided at 12:26 p.m. in the 1500 block of Stone St.
A vehicle hit a parked vehicle in the Walmart lot and left. Another hit-and-run was reported at 903 8th St.
Three forgeries were reported at Walmart.
Vehicles driven by Tanner Brown and Monica Griffin collided at 5:32 p.m. in the 1500 block of 10th St.
Someone damaged a storm door at 1304 Hubbard St. by shooting it. The investigating officer also found two or three vehicles in the 1200 block of Holland St. with a broken windows.
Someone broke a window and the TV inside the residence at 308 Buckeye St.
A disorderly conduct case was taken when subjects were fighting outside Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main, at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday.
