Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday, 11 Sunday and seven Monday.
There was a small grass fire Friday at 2620 17th St.
On Saturday there was a possible gas leak at 2115 Monroe St., followed by a pickup fire at 1217 Holland St., when a 2001 Ford F-150 had an electrical fire. Firefighters were also dispatched to an oven fire at 331 NE 20 Ave., but when the units arrived on the scene they found no fire. A fourth fire call on Saturday sent units to 1219 Madison St., where there was a trash barrel of fire.
There was a small grass fire at 2620 17th St. on Sunday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Masen Torres was eastbound on 24th St. merging lanes at 7:43 a.m. Friday and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Juan Diaz.
Theft of  a license decal from 3808 21st St. was reported.
A vehicle driven by Luz Gorden backed into a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Paseo St. at 10:45 a.m. Friday.
A vehicle driven by Christopher Wonsetler backed into a parked vehicle on 27th St. at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Theft of checks from 923 Eighth St. and forgery were reported.
A vehicle driven by Stephanie Vasquez was eastbound on Eisenhower at 1:16 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Christina Beiberle, who was southbound on Cherry Lane.
A burglary at 2213 McCormick St. was reported. Jewelry was taken.
Theft of money from 4107 10th St. was reported Friday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a mailbox at 2320 24th St. Friday night.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a gas meter in the alley at 2115 Monroe St. at 12:34 a.m. Saturday. Kansas Gas Service responded and shut off the gas.
Theft of checks from 1033 Adams Apt. C was reported Saturday, along with at least four cases of false writing and theft.
Theft of a 2004 Chevy Cavalier from 3815 12th St. was reported at 5:07 a.m. Sunday.
Forgeries were reported at 4107 10th St. and 3907 Broadway Ave. Cigarettes were stolen from 3907 Broadway.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 3503 10th St., it was reported Sunday afternoon.
A vehicular burglary at 1115 Hubbard St. was reported at 6:45 a.m. Monday. Items were taken from a 1996 Chevy. Loss was $1,450.
Someone scratched a vehicle at 209 Hickory St.
An individual reported finding personal checks and a pair of shoes, Monday afternoon at 1027 Jackson St. The items were reported stolen in a case worked by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
A vehicle driven by Rachel Dryer backed into a vehicle driven by Robert Kasper in the 5300 block of 10th St. at 4:54 p.m. Monday.
Beer was stolen from 3907 Broadway.
A vehicle driven by William Hall was northbound in the 900 block of Grant St. at 9:35 p.m. Monday and struck a vehicle driven by Neil VonFeldt, who was stopped in traffic at 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
On Friday morning, a hit-and-run collision that allegedly occurred on Oct. 27 or 28 at Willy J’s, 206 North U.S. 281, was reported.
Theft of cash and a credit card from 245 NE 30 Road was reported Friday.
A 1998 Camaro hit a deer in the 300 block of SE 30 Ave. at 7:34 p.m. Friday.
A 2007 Chevrolet van struck a light pole on U.S. 281 near NE 30 Road at 10:07 p.m. Friday.
At 10:29 p.m., Salina Police Department reported a TV was stolen from their Walmart and the vehicle came back to a location in Barton County. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and the TV was found, along with a suspect.
A vehicle driven by Gustavo Delgadillo was westbound in the 200 block of NW 10 Road at 1:58 a.m. Saturday when the driver swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle, a Ram truck, went off the road and rolled onto its side.
Theft of guns, antiques and collectibles from 107 North Main, Ellinwood, was reported Saturday. The burglary alarm went off at 4:06 a.m.
Craig Barrett hit a deer with a Ford Escape at 5:16 a.m. Saturday, at mile marker 97 on North U.S. 281.
A motorist who was cited for passing in a no passing zone in the 200 block of North Washington at 11:17 a.m. Saturday said he left something in his oven and was afraid his house was on fire. There was no fire.
A burglary at 248 SE 100 Ave. Apt. A was reported Sunday.
Theft of a radiator, copper wire and brass valves from 668 NE 170 Road was reported Monday. A welder and road grader were damaged as well.
A vehicle hit a deer at NE 130 Road and NE 130 Ave., at 7:52 p.m. Monday.
A vehicle hit a deer on North U.S. 281, at mile marker 124, at 8:32 p.m. Monday.
