Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made 11 ambulance runs on Friday, six on Saturday and two on Sunday. There was two fire runs on Friday, at 9:13 a.m. units responded to 1922 Main Street for a report of smoke in office building. Upon arrival an electrical smell in the building that was coming from a faulty light ballast. The owner was contacting an electrician to replace the ballast.
At 3:20 units responded to 1220 Taft for a house of fire, as reported in the Sunday edition of the Great Bend Tribune.

Nov. 6
Theft was reported at Caseys General Store, located at 2716 10th St.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 3900 Block of 19th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 10th St., and Washington St.
Nov. 7
Theft was reported at Dillons located at 4107 10th St.
Burglary was reported at 1816 Hubbard St.
Theft of fuel was reported at Zip Stop located at 3620 10th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 3101 Washington St.

Barton County Sheriff
Nov. 6
An injury accident was reported in the 900 Block of East Barton county Road at 7:18 a.m. on Friday. Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident. Deputies arrived on scene and seen the first vehicle driven by Danielle Steele, facing eastbound in the westbound lane. The other vehicle, driven by Taylor Cook, was in the ditch. Steele was traveling westbound and saw a vehicle pulling off the side of the road. Steele noticed the vehicle driven by Cook come to a stop and steele had no time to react and rear ended the vehicle driven by Cook. Steele was transported to Ellinwood District Hospital. Cook was not injured.
A non-injury accident was reported at NE 50 Ave., and NW 30 road. A vehicle hit a deer.
Nov. 7
A injury accident was reported at 463 SW 60 ave. At approximately 3:20 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an injury accident. When they arrived they were met by the reporting party stating that an ATV had rolled over into the riverbed. The driver of the ATV was heading east in the river and hit a low spot filled with sand. The driver lost control of the ATV and rolled it over. The driver was transported to GBRH for minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
Criminal damage was reported at northwest 20 Ave., and northwest 30 Road.
Theft was reported at 2302 railroad Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 128 east K-4. A vehicle hit a deer.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 166 K-96.
A injury accident was reported at 1400 northeast 130 Ave. A vehicle hit a cow.
Nov. 8
A non-injury accident was reported at 1075 northwest 40 Ave. A vehicle hit a deer.
