Great Bend Police
Someone entered a car at 2515 Zarah Dr. and stole two purses, it was reported Wednesday.
Vehicles driven by David Caudill and Leon Bahr collided at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday at 24th and Washington St. The vehicle driven by Bahr was towed by Marmie’s and the other vehicle was removed by the owner.
A Dell laptop computer was reportedly taken from 5225 Quail Creek Dr.
A bike was found at 1321 Main and booked in.
A burglary was reported at 2414 Shawnee Dr.; a purse was stolen.
An individual reported losing a cell phone at the jail.
A Great Bend resident reported that his house was broken into last June and now someone left a threatening note on his door in the 5200 block of Eisenhower Ave.
At 1:26 a.m. someone in the 2000 block of McKinley St. reported a relative had kicked in the back door of the residence.

Barton County Sheriff
Two windows were shot out of a vehicle at 5540 Second St. G, Great Bend, it was reported Wednesday.
A burglary was reported at 790 East K-4. Someone cut a cable and lock to enter a shop, and attempted to get into an old safe. However, they could not cut it with the type of torch used.
