Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Tuesday. There was one false alarm, but no fires.

Great Bend Police
An officer found a license plate Tuesday over the noon hour on 11th St.
A resident found a black Mongoose-brand bike on 11th St.
Criminal damage to vehicles on Ninth St. was reported.
A flower pot was reportedly stolen from 5612 Eisenhower Ave.
A vehicle hit a pole at 4:07 p.m. at 3920 10th St.
Money was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 705 Harrison St.
A fern was reportedly stolen from 3117 16th St.
An opossum was in a house in the 800 block of Maple St. at 11:38 p.m. The Golden Belt Humane Society picked up the animal.

Barton County Sheriff
A man who accidentally stabbed himself was at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:44 a.m. in the 900 block of West Barton County Road.
An injury accident was reported at 7:11 a.m. at NW 110 Ave. and K-96, east of Albert. It was later determined to be a non-injury accident.
Tires and wheels were reportedly stolen from the back of a vehicle at Springer’s Used Cars, 653 South Main, Hoisington.
A theft case was taken at Morss Metals, 76 SE 16 Road, Great Bend, after Gregg Keenan attempted to drop off radiators to sell there. Keenan was arrested and his residence in Great Bend was later searched. See related story, "3 burglary suspects arrested."

Total bond $55,000.
