Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.
Great Bend Police
Nothing was found when police checked a fireworks complaint in the 400 block of Buckeye St. at 6 p.m. Monday.
On Monday a Great Bend resident reported two of his checks were forged.
Theft of a handicapped placard was reported Monday.
A snow blower was reportedly stolen from 3710 McKinney Dr.
Vehicles driven by Dustin Cook and Tyler Swank colleded at 4:20 p.m. Monday at 19th and Odell.
Criminal damage to a vehicle at 1305 Patton Road was reported.
A vehicle hit a deer at 8:15 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of NE 100 Ave.
A burglary was reported Monday at 1124 NE 200 Road. A vehicle was broken into and tools valued at $135 were stolen.
A motorist was westbound in the 1200 block of West Barton County Road at 10:52 a.m. Monday when the vehicle entered the ditch and hit a field drive, then overturned. The driver, who had fallen asleep, was not injured.
A semitrailer and passenger car collided in the 200 block of NE 30 Road at 11:05 a.m. Monday. No one was injured.

Barton County Sheriff
A complaint was made Sunday that dogs in the 400 block of Wilkens Street in Heizer were without food, water or shelter. A case was made and dogs were picked up by the Golden Belt Humane Society for lack of care. A women who drove up to the scene was arrested for driving with a suspended license and was booked as a repeat offender.
A vehicle hit a pole after the driver swerved to avoid a deer on West Barton County Road and NW 100 Ave. at 8:41 p.m. Sunday.
A tow truck, two BSCO officers and three Great Bend police officers responded at 7:43 p.m. Sunday, after a caller who refused to give his name reported seeing a green Ford pickup crash at the entrance to the Arkansas River by Stone Lake by South Washington. No one was injured.
