Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and six Sunday.
At 8:11 a.m. Sunday they were dispatched to 5844 16th St. Terrace, Apartment 56. The tenant stated that she turned on her heater that morning and smoke started coming from the vents. After further investigation, they found the furnace needed some normal maintenance. The unit was shut off until maintenance could be accomplished.

A vehicle driven by Ray McNett was northbound in the 2400 block of Washington St. at 11 a.m. Friday when the gooseneck trailer broke and struck a vehicle driven by Justin Christians, who was also northbound.
A blue mountain bike was found in the ally in the 2200 block of Jackson St. and booked into evidence.
Vehicles driven by Eunice Wendelburg and Joann Sucky collided at 12:31 p.m. in the 3500 block of Broadway Ave.
Eric Kuhn was driving south in the 2500 block of Jefferson at 2:21 p.m. when his ATV fell off the trailer and struck two parked vehicles.
A Kansas decal was reportedly stolen from 1037 Jefferson St.
A gas skip was reported at 2334 Main at 11:33 p.m. Friday.
At 12:19 a.m. Saturday, theft of a cell phone was reported at 2424 19th St.
At 2:41 a.m. a traffic arrest was made. Roosevelt T. Henderson, 27, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, open container (illegal transportation of liquor) and illegal registration. He was booked into the Barton County Jail and released after posting a $10,000 surety bond.
A Kansas license plate was found on 10th St. and booked into evidence.
Police responded to a domestic call in the 2600 block of Adams St. at 2:53 a.m. Sunday, after a known person kicked in an apartment door and battered the occupant. The suspect was not located.
A bicycle was found over the noon hour at Braum’s, 4209 10th St.
A stolen WiFi was found in the 2300 block of Lakin Ave.
A wagon was reportedly stolen from 1919 Adams St.
A narcotics violation was reported at 10:38 p.m. in the 2400 block of Seventh St. An arrest was made.
Barton County Sheriff
A juvenile motorist went off the road and into the ditch around 7:24 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Barton County Road.
