Theft of coins from 223 Third St. was reported Friday.
A street sign was found in a back yard in the 1000 block of Warner Road and returned to the Street Dept.
At 12:24 a.m. Saturday a caller who refused to give a name reported there were approximately 50 people fighting behind a residence in the 400 block of Firethorn St. The area was checked but nothing was found. An anonymous caller reported shots fires at 10:26 p.m. Sunday on Broadway Ave. Again, police did not find a disturbance.
Shoes were stolen from Payless ShoeSource, 3511 10th St. No. 7, it was reported Sunday.
A bicycle was found in the 1200 block of Sheridan St.
Barton County Sheriff
A Topeka resident on Friday reported his or her identity had been stolen and is being used at a rural Barton County business.
A vehicle hit a deer at 8:24 p.m. Friday, 1 mile west of Great Bend on U.S. 56.
A vehicle hit a deer just south of Hoisington on U.S. 281 at 6 a.m. Friday; it was reported Saturday evening.
A Hummer went into a fence around 11:05 p.m. Saturday in a construction area on SW 40 Ave. and West Barton County Road. No one was with the vehicle when the accident was reported.
