Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Thursday. At 11:46 p.m. they responded to an alarm at Walmart. There was no fire; a water leak in the sprinkler system in the garden had activated the alarm.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of oilfield supplies from NW 70 Ave. and NW 30 Road was reported Thursday.
A non-injury accident in the 500 block of NW 30 Ave. was reported at 12:34 a.m. Thursday.

Great Bend Police
An unattended jeep hit a cart corral at 1701 Main at 10:52 a.m. Thursday.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit gas pumps at 1221 10th St. at 10:55 a.m.
An identity theft case was taken after someone used a Great Bend resident’s personal information to open an account.
Ammunition and a club were found in the southeast part of town and turned in to the police department. Items were booked as “found property.”
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a car at the Family Crisis Center, 1924 Broadway, Thursday afternoon.
Four tires were damaged at 1209 1/2 Kansas Ave.
Theft of a laptop computer from 5220 10th St. was reported.
