Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs and one fire call on Thursday. At 1:30 p.m. units responded to 5304 for grass on fire. Upon our arrival found a gentleman using a garden hose to extinguish most of the fire. Firefighters moved the small pile of grass clippings around to completely extinguish the fire.

Money stolen from a residence at 1919 Madison St.
A vehicle hit a railroad crossing sign at 10th St.
A vehicle hit a deer at mile marker 218 E U.S. 56.
A vehicle hit a deer at K-156 and NE 50 Road.
A Blue Nose Pitbull was stolen at 457 Kiowa Road.
