Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.


Great Bend Police

A Child In Need of Care (CINC) case was taken Thursday in Great Bend.

Theft of a dealer tag was reported at Harper Camperland, 1200 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at noon in the 1400 block of U.S. 281 Bypass.

A Great Bend resident reported theft of a portable heater occurred sometime over the last four months.

The back window to a vehicle at 1421 Hubbard St. was broken.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:36 p.m. at the Best Western Angus Inn, 2920 10th St.

A juvenile employee at Walmart reportedly stole from the business.

K-9 Lazar was used on a traffic stop at 12:40 a.m. Friday at 24th and Morton.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:18 a.m. Thursday at Fort Zarah, 330 East U.S. 56, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:25 a.m. at 1077 NW K-96, Albert.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:31 a.m. at 125 East Railroad Ave., Galatia.

Two CINC cases were taken at different locations in Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:19 p.m. at Community Christian, 253 NE 30 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:45 p.m. on North U.S. 281 and NE 60 Road, Hoisington.
