Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to seven calls Tuesday. There was one gas leak in the 1000 block of Coolidge Street and one false alarm.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft report was made Tuesday at the sheriff’s office.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:58 p.m. on NW K-96 at mile marker 173.


Great Bend Police

Criminal damage to property was reported Tuesday at Burger King 3929 10th St.

A sex offense was reported at 9:12 a.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:07 a.m. at Dillons No. 51,  4107 10th St.

A sex offense was reported at 10:20 a.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:11 p.m. at Broadway and Harrison.

Theft of a bicycle was reported at 2100 Broadway Ave.

A battery was reported at Walnut Bowl, 3101 Washington St.

A male was served a notice to appear (NTA) in municipal court for allegedly harassing or stalking a juvenile female

A male was served an NTA after allegedly stealing a pack of lighters from Dollar General, 2400 10th St.
