Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made 10 ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday and three Sunday. There was a false alarm for a cooking fire at 1:09 p.m. Sunday at 2103 Monroe St.


Great Bend Police

More criminal damage to property cases were reported Friday.

An injury crash was reported at 2:53 p.m. Friday at 2nd and Frey.

An aggravated burglary in progress at reported at 11:51 p.m. Friday at 1020 Jackson St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:27 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle in the alley in the 2800 block of Lakin Ave. (Jefferson and Lakin) struck something.

Shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday, someone reported a vehicle had been stolen outside a bar. It was not stolen, however; it was located in a different parking lot.

A burglary was reported at 2308 8th St. Electronic items were taken.

At 12:24 a.m. Sunday, an individual reported being battered at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.

An individual reported possible elder abuse/neglect of her father at a nursing home. A case was taken for review.


Barton Sheriff’s Office

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:39 a.m. Friday at NW 110 Ave. and NW K-96.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:04 a.m. at Thomas Quality Homes, 242 North U.S. 281.

Theft was reported at Walmart, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:14 p.m. at NW 90 Ave. and NW K-96, Albert.

A burglary in progress was reported at 12:07 p.m. Saturday at 611 Windmill Lane.

Theft was reported at 1188 SW 70 Road, Pawnee Rock.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:36 p.m. at NW K-96, mile marker 168, Albert.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:58 p.m. at K-96, mile marker 174.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:25 p.m. at South U.S. 281 and SE 50 Road, Great Bend.

After a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at NW 90 Ave. and West Barton County Road, citations were issued for driving while (license was) suspended and other violations. The vehicle was removed by Marshall’s Towing at the owner’s request.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 5841 Anchor Way B, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9 p.m. Sunday at West U.S. 56, mile marker 207.
